Dining Room Peek with Z-Gallerie & West Elm

So today I want to give you guys a peek at my home, starting with the dining room! When I started the design concept for my house, I initially aimed for a bold and glamorous Mediterranean feel with luxe jewel tones! The dining room was the first room I decided to decorate, and I knew I wanted a turquoise and gold theme. I found this set (pictured) from Z-Gallerie that I fell in love with!

This is the plateware setting in Ibiza, which is no longer sold, but I found a comparable version that I linked below.
The turquoise place mats, linen napkins, and gold napkin rings are from the World Market. See the links below for similar finds!
The gold place mats are from At Home. I love them because they are really bargain priced and good for messy spills because they are so easily replaceable.

Let’s talk artwork. I knew that I wanted a large eye-catching statement piece on the center dividing wall. I searched various stores, but could not find a piece that I loved in my chosen color scheme. I ended up commissioning a custom 3 panel piece from a local Greensboro, NC artist, Monique Johnson, who designed a mixed media work using gold leaf and my chosen colors of teal and various earth tones. This piece looks so much better in person; it photographs rather muted, no matter what I do to color correct! *Check out my baby, Bella, casually photobombing!*

I also love this abstract painting that I got from West Elm! It’s older, so no longer sold in stores, but I linked some that I think are lovely, and in the same color scheme!

Not doing a full dining room tour for now, because we are in the middle of renovating! We just had new hardwoods put down, and are working on a wall concept and a new centerpiece for the table! I’m looking forward to sharing a full home tour when we’re done

 See ya next time!
