Visiting New York means you are perfectly placed to hop across the river and visit New Jersey at the time you wish. Liberty State Park

Just on the other side of the river, Liberty State Park is reachable in under 30 minutes by either car ferry or train; the bus takes longer to reach your destination. Once you get to Liberty State Park, not only will you be treated to spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty, you will be up close and personal with some stunning scenery and historical backdrops. With a two-mile promenade, playgrounds, and picnic areas, it’s ideal for escaping the city and experiencing a slower pace of life, even if just for a few hours.

Again you can reach it from New York in under 30 minutes, guaranteeing a day full of fun and learning. Hoboken

Hoboken, New Jersey, is ideally located to be accessible from NY in under 20 minutes, and if you’re flying into Teterboro airport, it’s just under 30 minutes by car too. But why visit this place? Described as Manhattan without the taxis, Hoboken is a thriving city with the best views of the Manhattan skyline and a spectacular food and nightlife scene too.
