Every now and then, I’ll run across a piece of clothing that gives me instant inspiration, and I just know that I have to have it. Even better is when I run across said piece of clothing at a totally attractive price point! Enter this to-die-for Burgundy Velvet Blazer from Old Navy!!! (Seriously!)
Now don’t get me wrong…I adore Old Navy. They are a staple retailer for great basics, fun graphic tees and sweatshirts, and winter knit accessories. You also can’t beat their oh so economically priced outerwear! (*Shout out to Old Navy for the $35 Peacoats!!! ?????? Y’all are the real MVP’s for that!) I just never look to them for ultra glam, fun fashion!
However, I was truly shocked when I saw this beautifully chic and wonderfully soft burgundy blazer, just hanging there with my name on it!!! Ok, so it didn’t technically have my name on it, but it was the only XL left, so I took that as a sign.
This blazer will go with anything. Old Navy offers matching velvet pants, but when it was hanging in the store, I envisioned it with a gorgeous vintage dress…maybe in a shade of blush or champagne. I don’t own this gorgeous vintage dress though, so for now, I styled it with a gray cami, black peep toe pumps, and these super comfy Curve-Creating skinny jeans from NY&Co. (I’ll be linking my entire outfit below, so you can shop!) For now, just keep enjoying this gorgeous blazer that is just as soft as it looks!
I would also like to add that the fit is A-1!!! ?? I’m a chunky girl, and this blazer glides over my curves like fresh butter! I think it runs true to size, but Old Navy has always, in my opinion, had a very generous cut. The velvet trend has been huuuuge this Fall, and this is the perfect entry-level into velvet for the simple stylista! Pick one up today!
See ya next time!
