Sunday Style In NY&Co.

Woman wearing cotton halter neck fit and flare dress from NY &a Company
I mentioned in this post that until this year, I’ve never really worn dresses, due to my thick midsection and short waistline. Jeans, dressy tops, and stilettos were my typical “night out on the town” choices, and for church, dress pants worked just fine! ? This season, thanks to NY & Company, I have about 6 new dresses in my wear it all the time rotation, in part due to their “Fit and Flare” sillouette that is soooo figure flattering! The dresses have a seam that cuts horizontally about 5 inches below the bust line, and this creates the illusion of a nipped in waistline! I think that NY & Company’s fit and flare style is very well suited for rectangle/ruler shapes, apple shapes, and inverted triangles, due to the waistline feature as well as the flared skirt, which balances the hips with the upper body.

I’m wearing the Cotton Halter Fit and Flare dress in Black Print. This dress runs TTS, and I’m wearing the XL.  I styled my dress with a pair of black and gold bauble earrings from Charming Charlie, and black Merona sandals from Target! I’ve linked everything in the widget below, so scroll through so that you can purchase anything you like! The bracelet I am wearing is Hermes, and can be purchased here

See ya next time!
