Located just a few minutes outside of the vibrant town of Charlotte you will find Lake Norman. When it comes to having a good time after dark, Charlotte is the place to be. The town is home to a whole host of vibrant bars, clubs and venues. You can sing along with your favorite songs at Howl at The Moon, or go to an open-air party at the bar Rooftop 210. The EpiCentre is three floors of themed bars and nightclubs, and these are without the numerous other bars, restaurant and nightclubs you will find in Charlotte. They are not the only evening entertainment though. Charlotte also has theatres and cinemas and is known for the number of festivals it holds, so you will always have something to do in the evenings in the city.
PNC Music Pavilion
When you’re traveling, at the Douglas International Airport Hotel Near PNC Music Pavilion and you will get to enjoy what is a truly amazing outdoor music venue in Charlotte, and a must visit when you are in the city. Originally opened in 19991 it has hosted the likes of The Beach Boys, Aerosmith, Bob Dylan, Britney Spears, Elton John, Janet Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Radiohead, Ray Charles, Tina Turner, Paul McCartney and many others playing all different types of music. It is also the venue for many music festivals such as Carnival of Madness, Ozzfest and Warped Tour.
Latta Plantation Nature Reserve
If you want to spend your weekend away communing with nature, looking at spectacular views and rarely spending any time indoors, then you really should head to the Latta Plantation nature Reserve. One of the most beautiful unspoiled areas in North Carolina, it is brimming with beautiful flora and fauna. There’s also hiking trails that you can travel by horse and an education center which can be extremely informative.
North Carolina has so much to see and do that it’s worth exploring every inch of the state, but if you can’t dot hat and you’re looking for a good night out, this area is a great place to start and you can be sure to have lots of fun!
