There are tons of influencers (like myself 😉) that you can also team up with on IG to help you promote! TikTok is great for promoting lifestyle items. You can make fun videos using your items and increase your odds of going viral by using a trending song or sound in your video! If you have a blog, use Twitter and Facebook to share your blog posts to increase traffic back to your website and demonstrate expertise in the field, which will help build trust with potential customers.
2) Use social media to share events and promotions
Don’t fall into the trap of using social media to just post pics and videos. Start planning events, and use your social media to promote events and sales. If you don’t already, make sure that your business has an event page on Facebook. Every time you have something going on in-store or online, be sure to post about it! Customers love being informed of things like this so they can take advantage of the opportunity that presents itself. Another thing that social media does well is informing people when there are discounts available for sale items. You may even want to consider starting up a Twitter account dedicated solely to sharing information about promos and deals – many businesses do this with positive results!
3) Use social media to connect with clients
It is important to treat your social media accounts as real-life conversations. When you’re engaging with clients on these platforms, think about how it would be like in person – of course, you wouldn’t just ignore someone or pretend that they don’t exist, so why do this online? Instead, engage people who have questions about what you sell and spend some time talking to them. If done correctly, this can turn into a great opportunity for business!
4) Use your social media to gain investors
If you’re not using social media to network, you’re missing out on the most important opportunities you can come across! Social media should absolutely be used as a tool to gain investors. If you have an interesting business proposition or product, post about it on social media and see if anyone is interested in getting involved. You never know who might be watching!
