Tea Time at the O’Henry Hotel

My mother and I have a standing tradition of afternoon tea at the O’Henry Hotel in Greensboro, NC.  It’s always so nice to be able to catch up over a cup of tea, in a serene setting. Today was extra special, as it is my birthday! I decided to wear a dress from NY&Co that I have been saving for a good occasion; I try not to wear white too often, as I’m very accident prone! Somehow, I made it through tea with nary a spill! Keep reading for more details on the O’Henry Hotel, and our tea time!

The O’Henry Hotel does tea, and it does tea well!

The O’Henry Hotel serves tea weekly in the Social Lobby, and it has become a Greensboro tradition of sorts. The exact schedule is as follows:

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12 Noon–5 PM, Monday – Wednesday, 2–5 PM and Thursday 11 AM–3:30 PM

The O’Henry can accommodate groups as large as 20 for tea, but I would recommend making reservations first. Otherwise, the O’Henry will always readily accommodate intimate parties! Another tip? If you go for tea on Thursday’s, you can stick around for Thursday Night Cocktails & Jazz. Fun times.  The O’Henry also offers spacious, and beautifully appointed rooms that are perfect for everything from an overnight staycation to a week long romantic getaway! If you are ever in the Greensboro, NC area, I wholeheartedly recommend that you stay at this property. (This post has not been sponsored and is my own opinion.)

What I’m Wearing: Details

Dress: This cute little fit and flare dress from NY&CO is sold out, but they have tons of similar options that you can snag here!

Sandals: Target | Bag: Hermès Birkin 35. The Twilly is an older design (Le Flots du Cheval)

This dress is so comfortable and figure flattering.  The dress is cut well, and it gives me a very defined waistline. I am wearing an XL, and it runs true to size!

See ya next time!

  3. Best boba tea Las Vegas

    bubble tea in Las Vegas

Easy Life Boba Tea serves up a dizzying array of cold drinks, quenching thirsts with icy coffee drinks like the mocha frappe, green or black iced tea in flavors like mango and honeydew, and specialty drinks, such as the taro and avocado smoothie. Great boba shop in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nevada area. The rest of the menu is just as diverse and features milk teas and fruit slushes dotted with boba, as well as crispy snacks such as popcorn chicken, shrimp balls, tots, and fries.
