New York

There are plenty of New York weekend breaks you can take advantage of if you want a quick holiday to one of the world’s busiest cities. From entertainment, theatres and sports to some of the world’s most interesting melting pots of cuisine, New York has it all. There are plenty of sightseeing opportunities at some of the world’s most iconic destinations, and it’s fairly easy to get around despite the city being so congested and urban. New York makes the perfect city break if you’re tired of the same old beaches and sunbathing trips.

Tokyo

Japan is one of the hottest destinations to visit due to how culturally different it is to the western world. It’s a fantastic introduction to South-East Asia and Tokyo is certainly the destination to visit. In preparation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Japan has overhauled most of its signs and public transportation information to make it easy for non-Japanese people to navigate. Most of the city’s signs are in English and many people have been practising the English language in anticipation for tourists. This makes the current year a great time to travel to Tokyo if you want to experience some of the world’s most interesting culture and tradition.

London

There are many reasons to visit London, such as exploring iconic attractions like the London Eye and to sample some of the world’s finest cuisines. To many people, London can be incredibly expensive but in reality, that’s not the case. Sure, you might find yourself paying quite a lot for accommodation and food, but there are also plenty of free attractions like the British Museum which accepts donations but is entirely free to enter. Sports are also a popular attraction in London, with some of the biggest sporting events taking place all year round in the bustling capital.

Paris

Paris has one of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Eiffel Tower. If that’s not enough of a reason to take a weekend break here, then there’s also the vibrant art and culture that the city is steeped in. You’ll also get to marvel at Paris on a boat, making for a wonderful tour that you’ll want to experience at least once in your life. Let’s not forget the amazing culinary scene that Paris is renowned for, with some of the world’s most famous dishes being served daily in the many restaurants that you’ll find here. For children, we also can’t forget the magical world of Disneyland, making Paris one of the hottest destinations for both adults and kids alike this year.
